Remedy is a new, fully equipped physiotherapy clinic based in Burton-on-Trent. With an existing team of highly qualified practitioners and a growing client base, we are now hoping to expand our clinical hours to accommodate more patients.
To support the growth of the practice we are looking for a second physiotherapist to join our multi-disciplinary team. The position would ideally suit a confident practitioner who is passionate, highly skilled and motivated to develop professionally. A positive outlook and outstanding customer service are also key to thrive in this role.
As our ideal candidate, you should have excellent skills in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions for a variety of patients. This will include hands-on treatment and the implementation of rehabilitative programmes in a gym setting. Throughout consultation and treatment, you will be able to relay complex and often sensitive information to patients with confidence and clarity.
Previous private practice experience is desirable, but not essential. However, it is of paramount importance that you can align your practice with our values. These include: considering each patient holistically, utilising evidence-based interventions and offering the highest standards of patient-centred care.
Our ideal candidate:
- Physiotherapy BSc (Hons)
- HCPC and CSP registration
- Confident, vibrant personality
- Fantastic communication and rapport building skills
- Competent manual therapist
- High customer service standards
- Organised and detail-oriented
- Motivated to grow professionally
Desirable but not essential:
- Previous private practice experience
- Postgraduate acupuncture certification
- Specialism in women’s health, pilates or yoga
This is a part-time position, hours are flexible to suit the candidate.
The role will be physically demanding, appointments are 1 hour and hands-on treatment is offered.
This position is only suitable for HCPC registered physiotherapists. Sports therapy applicants will not be considered.
What we’re offering:
- Revenue share model with target driven bonuses
- Flexible hours (to suit existing commitments)
- Relaxed working environment
- CPD budget
- Experienced, supportive colleagues across a variety of disciplines
- Free teas/coffees from Grown
- Free yoga/pilates classes with Calm
More about us:
Our practice is nested inside the Well House, a stunning period building in Burton town centre, home also to Calm Yoga Studios and Grown (a speciality coffee shop). At Remedy we’re lucky to have the great outdoors on our doorstep. Situated just a few minutes walk from the River Trent with parks and woodland surrounding, you’ll never be short of a picturesque spot to take a break. We’re also just set back from the many shops and eateries along the high street so we have convenience covered too.
Remedy benefits from a dedicated patient waiting room, two physiotherapy treatment rooms and an exclusive gym space. As well as offering first-class patient care, we also take pride in making great first impressions, so Remedy’s treatment rooms are bright, modern and fully kitted out with all the industry-standard equipment you’ll need.
The space offers a warm welcome and community feel which we aim to extend to staff, visitors and clients alike. As a practitioner at Remedy Physiotherapy Clinic you can enjoy speciality teas and coffees from Grown and a range of yoga/pilates classes at Calm Studios—all free of charge. Working with us you can expect a casual environment, but no shortage of encouragement and support both day-to-day and through a funded CPD programme.
